Tango Intimacy

Jivan and Kiran will lead us through Tantra practices to stimulate our awareness and presence, inner peace, vital energy and power.  The Tantra exercises will help us open ourselves for the encounter with another person.  We will explore tools to find us in the Here and Now, in ourselves, our body, exploring our senses, emotions and inner silence.  We will be interacting in a soft and playful way, sometimes blindfolded, sometimes with a partner, and also with the whole group.

The Tango practices will give us ideas and tools to expand our dance abilities and possibilities, without loosing intimacy.  Our focus will be a Milonguero approach to the dance.  We will work on creating a compact, but yet soft and gentle embrace.  A focus on technique, cadence and walking in a flow will help us to find playful entries into turns and fluid circular dynamics.  This creates a better use of space, and allows for more joy in the couple.  We will work on waves of movements to increase the vitality of our dance.  Specific technical tools will be introduced to help enjoy the silence, the space in between.  We reach simplicity, which opens the space for a wider soul conversation to take part in our social dance.

In the Tantra practical tools will be given to open oneself to the other.  The Tango will link this with practical solutions for a more powerful and joyful meeting in our dance.

Registration and Prices

The weekend costs 175 Euro, for 8 hours of Tango and 4.5 hours of Tantra. Lunch and Chai is included.
It is possible to sleep in the studio. Please bring your own sleeping bag and mattress. We have a shower and towels. Sleeping costs 10 Euro per night.
The seminar is limited to 30 participants. Registration is possible in couples and as a single. When you are interested as a single please contact us, we will try to match you with a partner. To register please send an Email to thomas(at)noutangoberlin.de. Please include your name, your hometown, your partners name, your dance experience, and whether you would like to sleep at the studio. The registration is valid when you have received the confirmation email from Thomas. The payment will be made in cash upon arrival.
